The EDP Spain Group, in its desire to include sustainable mobility and road safety in the Occupational Risk and Corporate Social Responsibility policies of all companies of the Group, commissioned Vectio to produce a Road Safety and Sustainable Business Mobility Plan, as well as lay the groundwork for the future ISO 39001
The objective of this plan is to promote and enhance alternative modes of transport to private vehicles, or safer means of transport if carried out in this mode, for its workers to travel to the work Centre.
The works carried out to conduct this Mobility Plan were as follows:
- Surveys of workers in order to know their mobility habits;
- Self-diagnosis surveys for the managers of HC Energía and Naturgás Energía;
- Surveys of injured workers.
Some of the data that we have been able to find out through the surveys concerning daily mobility habits on the way to work and during the working day, sustainable mobility preferences (foot, bike and public transport) or the alternative mobility preference (electric and gas).
